Hi there!
Emilee Herinckx (she/her), MA, LPC, LMFT
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist.
My work centers on relationships—whether between partners, family members, friends, or within yourself. I work with individuals and relationships to help navigate the complexities of connection, communication, and healing.
I believe that our relationships are shaped by our personal histories, cultural identities, and the systems we live within. As a therapist, I aim to create a space that is both affirming and challenging—a place where growth can happen amidst compassion and connection.
I practice from a socially conscious lens, informed by Kenneth Hardy’s concept of the Location of Self. This means I actively reflect on my own cultural identity, power, and privilege, and how these influence my presence in the therapy room. I acknowledge that therapy occurs within systemic inequities, which impact mental health, relationships, and access to care.
Whether you're seeking support through a difficult season, wanting to deepen your relationships, or hoping to explore your personal identity more fully, I’m here to walk alongside you with curiosity and respect.
